We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to run our business and respond to your enquiries. This may include:

  • Enquiry and project details you provide through our contact and quotation forms, including part descriptions, dimensions, weights, line speeds, drawings and any files you upload.
  • Correspondence you exchange with us by email, telephone, post or through this website.
  • Website usage information collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring website and the date and time of your visit. See section 7 on cookies and analytics.

We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health, religious or political information) and ask that you do not send it to us.

4. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations;
  • design, supply, deliver, install and support overhead conveyor and material handling systems;
  • manage our relationship with you, including invoicing, records and customer support;
  • keep you informed about products and services you have asked about, and, where you have agreed, send you occasional marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time;
  • operate, secure and improve this website and understand how it is used;
  • detect and prevent spam, fraud and misuse of our website; and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

5. Who we disclose personal information to

We may disclose personal information to:

  • our staff, contractors and professional advisers who need it to carry out the purposes above;
  • our product suppliers and manufacturing partners, some of which are located in the European Union, where this is needed to answer a technical enquiry or fulfil an order;
  • service providers that host and support this website and our business systems, as described in sections 6 and 7; and
  • government bodies, regulators, courts or law enforcement where required or authorised by law.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of the service providers we use store data outside Australia. In particular:

  • Website hosting and form submissions: this website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States). When you submit a form, your submission is stored on Netlify's servers and emailed to us.
  • Spam protection: our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, provided by Google LLC (United States).
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC (United States).
  • Product suppliers: as noted above, we may share enquiry details with suppliers in the European Union.

Before disclosing personal information overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it in a way consistent with the APPs.

7. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. This website uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes.

  • Strictly necessary: our website does not require cookies to display its pages. Our hosting provider may record your IP address and request details in server logs for security and reliability.
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies that assign an anonymous identifier to your browser. We have configured it to respect your browser's "Do Not Track" setting. We do not use advertising or social media tracking cookies.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Doing so will not stop this website from working, although the contact forms need reCAPTCHA to submit.

8. How we hold and protect personal information

We hold personal information in our email and business systems and in the systems of the service providers described above. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure, including access controls and the use of reputable providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, after which we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

9. Access and correction

You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Please contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond within a reasonable time and will not charge you for making a request. In limited circumstances permitted by law we may refuse access, in which case we will tell you why.

10. Marketing communications

If you receive marketing communications from us and no longer wish to, you can opt out by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

11. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or mishandled your personal information, please contact us using the details in section 1. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
